Say Somethin: Nik West

I stumbled upon a Nik West video, on Facebook. I believe she was performing live and OMGoodness, this woman is AMAZING! After browsing the net for more videos, I new before buying that I was going to LOVE her "Say Somethin" CD. 

She's a funky, bassist, artist, and vocalist, full of rock, soul, and swagger.  

I've seen her compared to Prince on several reviews.  In terms of style and vocals, I'm also getting some Bettye LaVette, P Funk, and Kiss.  I just love her overall style; simply put Nik West is feeding my soul right now!  I now have a sight unseen artist; you know the type you can just buy a CD, without listening to it first, because you KNOW it's going to be great? Yeah. Rock & roll baby!

Of course I'm subscribed to your YouTube channel too.  I couldn't resist; seeing her live stage performances, then to watch her connect with fans, answering questions, singing and playing songs for us; I'm in heaven!  Love ya, sis!   (Insert heart-eyed smiley)

This is the 5th year for the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival (GCUFF), which is scheduled for one glorious week (September 15 - 23, 2016).

The week is a film lovers dream, with something for everyone.  Opening Night is quickly approaching!  It will be held at the legendary Cleveland Museum of Art, with Denise Boutte and Mel Jackson as the 2016 GCUFF Ambassadors.  This, you won't want to miss!
